Why We Built It
KnowYourNut was built by Tim Sorrentino, a U.S. Army veteran and small business owner who spent years helping other owners get their numbers right. He kept watching the same thing happen: an owner would punch revenue into one calculator, expenses into another, and rent into a third, then try to stitch the answers together. Nothing connected. Nothing remembered what they entered last week.
Tim built the tool he wished he had when running his own businesses and sitting across the table from clients. A single place where the supported planning inputs can be reused in relevant tools, and where the workflow reflects how a small business owner thinks about money.
